ABOUT

From filmmaker to field scientist.

My background in media shaped how I tell stories. Field research is teaching me how to build those stories from evidence.

The path so far

I graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2025 with a B.A. in Emerging Media Production, graduating Cum Laude and earning Dean's List recognition throughout my degree.

In 2026, I began formal geology coursework at Los Angeles Pierce College and completed a 12-week field research program with the Museum of Texas Tech University at Lubbock Lake Landmark.

My long-term goal is to build a career at the intersection of paleontological research and public science communication.

Research

Building the geological foundation needed for future paleontology research and graduate study.

Fieldwork

Developing practical skills in excavation, surveying, documentation, preparation, and laboratory processing.

Communication

Using filmmaking, photography, and storytelling to make scientific work approachable and engaging.
